As a small business myself, it was fantastic being at an event all about AI for SMEs, I felt the topics and workshops were so insightful and I learned so much about how I can apply AI in day-to-day things I do such as content writing, marketing and generating ideas. It has certainly given me lots of new creative ideas for my business and encouraged me to just start and learn as I go! 💡

The great feeling of contributing creatively with my photography & event expertise which I love and documenting this forward-thinking industry event for Enterprise Nation. Having worked with this company since 2018, it’s wonderful to continue producing zesty photos for an empowering leading national organisation in this entrepreneurial space. Did you know I used AI in editing the photo below?
In the GIF below, you can see the steps in how I’ve edited the RAW file to the finished result that I delivered to the client
I used AI features twice in editing this specific photo.
- Step 1 – using software ImagenAI, ‘a personalized AI photo editing assistant’ as part of my editing workflow that utilises my distinct editing style that I’ve built years developing and based on several thousands of photos that I’ve uploaded to the software, it can edit a whole gallery of RAW images 90% the way I intend, with the last 10% tweaking manually in Lightroom for refined edits.
- Step 2 – for this specific group photo, I wanted to remove the food cart in the foreground so there weren’t any obstructions and a way to ‘replace’ the gentleman’s foot on the left as well as softening the concrete pillar on the far right side. To do this I used Adobe Photoshop’s powerful AI Generative fill feature and was able to remove the grapes and ‘fill’ this with the man’s foot and it look in proportion and realistic!
It feels full circle documenting an event about AI for small businesses and as a small business actually using AI in my photography services to deliver photos from this event! 😃

It was fantastic photographing another inspiring thought-provoking event and certainly look forward to many more in the future! Being an intuitive extrovert (ENFP) and a people person, I loved vibing off the energy on the day and helping people feel at ease in front of the camera and getting into the flow & rhythm of it all.

Having photographed over 600+ events, shoots & projects in my career, I still find it amazing how we can continually grow & flourish as a small business and creative people and add great value to brands, businesses & organisations.
